Wenchmore Bitter

This is a test of the recipator. And I can show my recipe to friends and brewing buddies.

Beer: Wenchmore Bitter Style: English Best (Special) Bitter
Type: All grain Size: 10 gallons
Color:
7 HCU (~6 SRM)
Bitterness: 37 IBU
OG: 1.053 FG: 1.017
Alcohol: 4.7% v/v (3.7% w/w)
Water: We use San Diego tap water filtered through a cartridge. And 2 oz of gypsom into the sparge water.
Grain: 16 lb. American 2-row
2 oz. American chocolate
1. lb. Flaked oats
Mash: 85% efficiency
We bring sparge water up to 170°. Then sparge for an hour. All wort is boiled. And cooled with wort chiller
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.049 11 gallons
We put the Irish moss in when we add the aroma hops and wort chiller to the boil
Hops: 4 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.)
0 oz. Fuggles (aroma)
4 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: White Labe English Ale WLP002
Carbonation: 1.0 volumes Keg: 8.0 psi @ 80°F
