Special Bitter

The nicest special bitter I ever brewed, despite 24 hours of high temp at initial fermentation (around 28 Celcius)

Bitterness: 29 IBU

Alcohol: 4.6% v/v (3.6% w/w)
Grain: 8kg American 2-row
1kg British crystal 135-165L
100g British black patent
Mash: 70% efficiency
Single infustion mash at 68° Celcius for 90 minutes, raise to 75° for mashout.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.046 50 liters
1kg Brown sugar
Hops: 50g Pride of Ringwood (8% AA, 60 min.)
40g Fuggles (4.75% AA, 15 min.)
40g Fuggles (aroma)
Yeast: PEET Classic English Ale. Great Australia Liquid yeast cultures from this guy!
Log: 5 days in Primary then racked. Fined after another 10 days then racked again. Kegged 26 days after brewing.
Carbonation: Force carbonated
