Water: Filtered tap water + 1/2 tsp Gypsum.
Grain: 9 lb. American 2-row
.5 lb. American crystal 10L
.5 lb. American crystal 40L
.5 lb. British Cara-Pils
Mash: 74% efficiency
30 minutes at 135°. 40 minutes at 155°. 20 minutes at 158°. Sparge slowly at 170° to make 5.5 gallons.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.052 5.5 gallons
1/2 tsp Irish Moss
Hops: .5 oz. Zeus (14.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (5.9% AA, 20 min.)
.25 oz. Zeus (14.5% AA, 20 min.)
.25 oz. Cascade (5.9% AA, 5 min.)
.25 oz. Cascade (aroma)
.25 oz. Zeus (aroma)
Yeast: Safale US-05
Log: Primary for 5 days at 72°
Secondary for 10 days at 50°
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Keg: 12.3 psi @ 40°F
