Airframers Pale Ale 2

Type: All grain Size: 6 gallons
Color:
16 HCU (~10 SRM)
Bitterness: 37 IBU
OG: 1.053 FG: 1.013
Alcohol: 5.2% v/v (4.1% w/w)
Water: Use purified tap water or bottled water.
Grain: 12 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. American Munich
1 lb. American crystal 60L
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 59% efficiency
Single infusion mash at 153 degrees for 1 hour. Heat sparge water to raise grain bed temp to 165 degrees and collect enough wort for a 7 gallon boil.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.046 7 gallons
Use two teaspoons of Irish Moss the last 15 minutes of the boil.
Hops: 0.7 oz. Galena (11% AA, 60 min.)
0.5 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 30 min.)
0.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: Use White Labs California Ale Yeast.
Log: One week primary or until hydrometer readings are steady, two weeks secondary. rack to keg and force carbonate, or bottle with 3/4 cup of corn sugar.
Carbonation: 2.3 volumes Keg: 12.5 psi @ 45°F
Tasting: Great tasting Pale Ale. I wouldn't change a thing, but then again its my recipe. let me know how you like it...
