Mash: 62% efficiency
Strike 1.25 qt./# to start sacc. rest at 155°F for 75 minutes. Mash-out at 170°F for 10 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.046 6.5 gallons
Hops: 1.5 oz. Cascade (5% AA, 60 min.)
1.5 oz. Cascade (5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Whitelabs "California Ale" liquid yeast.
Log: Brewed 3/26/04.
Racked to 2nd fermenter 3/29/04 (SG 1020). Clean and bitter.
Sampled for gravity and taste -- SG 1012, very clear, pale golden color, subtle hop finish.
