Pale Ale V 3.0

Second attempt with the new equipment (old equipment being MR Beer, new equipment being glass carboys etc.) and third attempt overall. Last time i had boil over so i bought a bigger pot and fiddled with the hop types. This won't be ready till i get back from the Czech Republic in January.

24 HCU (~13 SRM)
Bitterness: 54 IBU
OG: 1.059 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 6.4% v/v (5.0% w/w)
Water: used spring water
Grain: .5 oz. American 2-row
.5 oz. American victory
1 lb. American crystal 40L
Steep: 40 mins @ 170-180 degrees
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.119 2.5 gallons
4 lb. Pale malt extract
1 lb. Light dry malt extract
2 lb. Amber dry malt extract
Irish moss added 15 mins before end of boil
Hops: 1.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Nugget (12% AA, 25 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: 1099 WYEAST Whitbread
Log: Went to primary on 10/23
Went to secondary on 10/31 - Will add 1oz whole leaf Cascade hops to secondary for aroma.
bottled on 11/12.
Carbonation: 2/3 cup turbinado
Tasting: tasted on 11/27 - somewhat more bitter than i like, definietly needs to age longer. I think i'll try it again when i get back from the Czech Republic in january
