.25 lb. American crystal 40L
.75 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 65% efficiency
Mash for 1 hour with 3.5 gal at 153°
Batch sparge with 3 gal water at 170°
Batch sparge again with 2 gal water at 170°
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.046 6.5 gallons
- 1.50 oz of Chinook as a mash hop
- 3 dry hop additions for approximately 2 weeks each, of 1.25 ounces EACH of columbus, centennial and simcoe.
Hops: 2 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
2.75 oz. Simcoe/Warrior (12% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Simcoe/Warrior (12% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Columbus (8.5% AA, 30 min.)
2.25 oz. Centennial (aroma)
1 oz. Simcoe/Warrior (aroma)
