Hop Hog

This was the recepie that got me into home brewing! What a nose on this Hog!
You'll be rootin your snout over the top of the glass like the "Hop Hog" you are!

Beer: Hop Hog Style: Double India Pale Ale
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5.0 gallons
Color:
17 HCU (~11 SRM)
Bitterness: 89 IBU
OG: 1.084 FG: 1.018
Alcohol: 8.5% v/v (6.7% w/w)
Water: Tap
Grain: 8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
8 oz. British crystal 50-60L
Steep: Steep the grains for 30 min. @ 160°
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.065 6.5 gallons
9 lb. Light malt extract
2 lb. Wheat extract
Irish Moss @ 15 to go!
Hops: 2.0 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
1.5 oz. Cascade (aroma)
1.5 oz. Centennial (aroma)
Yeast: WLP 001 California Ale
Log: Dry hop for 7 days in the secondary, Bottle and age for at least 3 months!
Carbonation: 3/4 cup corn sugar @ bottling
