India Not Pale Ale

An IPA variation. Started with a friend's recipie that worked well for me in the past, but I changed a few ingredients based on what I had around.

Brewer: Alex Wetmore Email: -
Beer: India Not Pale Ale Style: India Pale Ale
Type: Partial mash Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
29 HCU (~15 SRM)
Bitterness: 58 IBU
OG: 1.067 FG: -

Water: Water run through a PUR water filter. Water is from Seattle, which is very soft.

8 oz. American Munich
1 lb. American crystal 60L
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)

3 gallon mash with all grains. 3 gallons of sparge water, but I ended up with 4 gallons of runoff (because there was so much water compared to the amount of grains). Mashed in a cooler, starting temp was 152°, finished at about 148°.

Original recipie called
