Baird's Beaked Ale

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
18 HCU (~11 SRM)
Bitterness: 25 IBU
OG: 1.069 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 6.8% v/v (5.3% w/w)
Water: NONE
Grain: 2 lb. American crystal 20L
1 lb. Flaked barley
.5 lb. Flaked wheat
Steep: Dump ALL the grains into your kettle. Let them stepp for 30 min,
then strain the grains out and start your boil.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.137 2.5 gallons
8 lb. Light malt extract
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 30 min.)
Yeast: White labs British Ale Yeast
Log: Dry hop during secondary fermentation with 1oz Cascade Hops.
Carbonation: NONE
Tasting: This is a modified version of the first time I made this.
