Water: Longmont, CO tap water.
Grain: 10.0 lb. American 2-Row
26 oz. Belgian Aromatic
20 oz. American Crystal 10L
10 oz. American Crystal 20L
1.0 lb. Flaked Rye
Mash: 68% efficiency
15.5 qts @ 170°F, for a 156°F 90 minute mash.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.078 7.0 gallons
5.0 lb. Light malt extract
Irish Moss @ 15 min.
Hops: 0.5 oz. Centennial (9.1% AA, 60 min.)
0.5 oz. Centennial (9.1% AA, 45 min.)
0.5 oz. Centennial (9.1% AA, 30 min.)
0.5 oz. Centennial (9.1% AA, 15 min.)
1.0 oz. Centennial (aroma)
Yeast: Not sure yet
Log: I'm sure it'll be in the secondary for a long time.
Carbonation: 2.0 volumes Keg: 4.3 psi @ 34°F
Tasting: We'll have to wait a good long while to find out.
Hope it will be ready for Christmas 2005.
