Water: calistoga spring water (pleasanton water is terrible.
Grain: 8 lb. 8 oz. British pale
9 oz. American crystal 40L
4.5 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 75% efficiency
Mash @ 155 - 157 degrees Fahrenheit
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.044 6 gallons
1/2 tsp gypsum in both mash water and sparge
Hops: .25 oz. Cascade (5.9% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Cascade (5.9% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (5.9% AA, 4 min.)
Yeast: English ESB Style Ale Yeast
Log: Ferment at ~68 degrees F
Carbonation: carbonate to 1.75 volumes
