28 HCU (~15 SRM)
Bitterness: 23 IBU
OG: 1.054 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 5.0% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Water: Regular tap water with Pur filter.
Grain: 1 lb. Belgian Munich
8 oz. Belgian biscuit
8 oz. Belgian CaraMunich
1 lb. Belgian CaraVienne
2 oz. Belgian Special B
2 oz. Flaked oats
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.090 3 gallons
5 lb. Light dry malt extract
Irish Moss added last 15 minutes.
Hops: 1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: WYeast 1056, with starter the day before.
Carbonation: 3/4 cup corn sugar for priming.
