First Brown Ale

My first brew - from a kit.
OG was slightly lower than the recipator calculated,
and the FG was slightly high. I calculate an ABV of 3.8%.

Color:
43 HCU (~20 SRM)
Bitterness: 20 IBU
OG: 1.045 FG: 1.014
Alcohol: 4.0% v/v (3.2% w/w)
Water: Used store-bought spring water and my home tap water.
Grain: 8 oz. American crystal 60L
6 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
4 oz. American chocolate
Steep: Steeped specialty grains as I was heating the water.
Removed when the side of the pot was too hot to touch.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.091 2.5 gallons
3.3 lb. Amber malt extract
2 lb. Amber dry malt extract
Hops: 1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 15 min.)
.25 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: 1 packet of Nottingham rehydrated in warm water.
Rehydrated 15 minutes from the end of the boil.
Cooled wort in ice bath.
When side of kettle felt like room temperature,
transferred to fermenting bucket and pitched yeast.
Log: Brew date 10/10/2009. Racked to secondary 10/17/09. Bottled 10/24/09.
Allowed 2 weeks for bottle conditioning.
Carbonation: Used Cooper's carbonation drops - 1 drop per 12 oz. bottle.
Tasting: Slightly sweet with strong floral flavor. Very nice session beer.
