Grain: 24 lb. Briess Anviversary Malt 2-row
3.5 lb. British crystal 70-80L
6 oz. British chocolate
2.5 oz. British black patent
2 lb. Gambrinus Honey Malt
Mash: 61% efficiency
Mashed in at 165° F to rest at 154-156° F for 1 hour. Check for conversion w/ iodine & mash out at 170° F.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.047 14 gallons
1 Tbs. Irish moss last 15 min. of boil.
Hops: 3 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.)
2 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 2 min.)
Yeast: 1/2 gal. starter Wyeast 1056 American Ale Yeast.
