Yo fly bad-ass! Nothing tops Downtown Brown!!!

18 HCU (~11 SRM)
Bitterness: 22 IBU
OG: 1.043 FG: 1.011
Alcohol: 4.1% v/v (3.2% w/w)
Water: Christchurch NZ - tap water
Grain: 110g British amber
220g British Carastan
110g British crystal 50-60L
Steep: Grains ground in blender then added to water prior to boil.
Water then run through sieve and boil started.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.051 10 liters
1.5kg Light malt extract
Hops: 5g Green Bullet (12% AA, 60 min.)
5g Green Bullet (12% AA, 30 min.)
Yeast: Safale Dryed Yeast
Log: 100 gm of crushed UK cara malt added to primary fermentation
after boil.
