Bitterness: 21 IBU
OG: 1.045 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 4.5% v/v (3.5% w/w)
Grain: 2 oz. American crystal 10L
2 oz. American crystal 20L
12 oz. American crystal 60L
Steep: Steep specialty grain in 1 gal of 150 ° water for 45 minutes and sparge with 1 gal water at 170 ° .
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.124 2 gallons
6 lb. Light malt extract
5 oz. Corn sugar
Add 1 tsp. Irish Moss with 15 minutes remaining in the boil
Hops: 1 oz. Target (8.4% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Northdown (7.4% AA, 60 min.)
.75 oz. Northdown (7.4% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Kent Golding (aroma)
Yeast: Again, my old favorite, White Labs Platnium Series WLP013 London Ale Yeast.
Log: Brewed on 9/15/02. Original Gravity of 1.052. Dry hop with .5 oz of Kent Goldings when transfered to the secondary.
Carbonation: Will prime with 5 oz. of corn sugar
