Alcohol: 5.7% v/v (4.5% w/w)
Water: Filtered tap water w/ omni filter (From Home Depot)
Grain: 3.5 lb. American 2-row
5 lb. British pale
1.5 lb. American crystal 60L
.5 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 84% efficiency
Mash in with 3.25 gal water @ 175 f for 60 minutes. Temp should be @ 154 f. Sparge with 8 (+/-) gal water @ 172 f, collect 7 gal.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.046 7 gallons
1 Tbls Irish Moss
Hops: .5 oz. Fuggles (3.4% AA, 60 min.)
1.0 oz. Kent Goldings (6.1% AA, 60 min.)
1.5 oz. Fuggles (3.4% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Muntons Dry, started and pitched up twice
Tasting: This one is going to be good.... I can already tell!
