23 HCU (~13 SRM)
Bitterness: 43 IBU
OG: 1.061 FG: 1.013
Alcohol: 6.1% v/v (4.8% w/w)
Water: Chicago Tap water
Grain: 8 lb. British pale
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
1 lb. 8 oz. British crystal 50-60L
8 oz. American victory
Mash: 78% efficiency
Mash in at 165 hold at 160 for 90 minutes sparge w 170 degree wate to collect 6 gals
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.051 6 gallons
Boil 60 minutes add 2oz kent goldings 60
1 oz at 15
dry hop .5 oz
2 tsp irish moss at 15
Hops: 2 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: English ale Yeat of your choice
Carbonation: 1.2 volumes Dried Malt Extract: 1.69 oz. for 5 gallons @ 70°F
