Blackbeard's Mead

Arrg! Twas a bright & blisterin day when me matey,(Buford the dog hearted) went a surchin fer blackbearded berries.
Just as we neared a stream, all of a sudden Buford took to chasin sompin inta the brambles. I Hobbled in after him when low and behold, I stumbled accross the largest patch of them there black pearls I'd ever set me little eyelets on! Well I called the Buford to me side and we began gatherin up our treasure. Just so's you know, Buford eet more an he put inta the treasure chest.

While it was simmerin, I reached me fat ands inta tha icebox an pulled out a baggie of frozen black pearls. With another quart o water I begins to boil them seperate like. After a good soakin I strained them beauties through a siv and added a cup o corn sweetness. With a quick check of the Hi-dro- mom-eater an a bit of a taste, Davy Jones couldna been happier findin a bottle hidden in his locker!

Log: As terday be da eightennth day in the month septimber in tha year of our lord 2005, I be expecting ta check it round about each month until I can't stands it no more.
