Alcohol: 5.8% v/v (4.5% w/w)
Grain: 0.5 lb. crystal malt
Steep: crystal malt is steeped from cold water until temp. is 160 then held for 30 min.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.082 4 gallons
3.3 lb. extra Light malt extract
3.3 lb. Amber malt extract
2 lb. Honey
bring to boil reduce heat add all malts and honey.return to boil and add 1.5 of cascade hops,6oz serano peppers 2oz jalepeno peppers and 2 4 oz cans diced green chiles.At 35 min. 1 oz of irish moss was added.remaining .5 of hops added with 10 min.
Hops: 1.5 oz. Cascade (6.6% AA, 60 min.)
0.5 oz. Cascade (6.6% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: wyeast american ale smack pack
Carbonation: 3.0 volumes Dried Malt Extract: 12.0 oz. for 6 gallons @ 70°F
