Type: All grain Size: 6 gallons
Color:
6 HCU (~5 SRM)
Bitterness: 35 IBU
OG: 1.064 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 6.2% v/v (4.8% w/w)
Water: 1 tablespoon of gypisum, 1tablespoon burton salts both at mash.
Grain: 10 lb. British pale
1 lb. German Munich
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 85% efficiency
mashed all grains in at 155 to 160 degs, for 60 to 90 mins or until converted check with iodine.
Boil: 70mins minutes SG 1.059 6.5 gallons
irish moss added with 20 mins left in boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: white labs british ale yeast 4th generation.
Log: force chill to 70 degs. add yeast ferment 7 to 10 days rack for one week .
