Color:
5 HCU (~4 SRM)
Bitterness: 16 IBU
OG: 1.055 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 5.1% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Water: pure ozark mountain water
Grain: 8 oz. American crystal 20L
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Steep: steeped grains to 165 degrees for 30 minutes then added extract and boiled 60 minutes
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.050 5.5 gallons
7 lb. Wheat extract
added tettnanger 3.1 alpha at begining boil, added irish moss at 15 minutes left of boil, added hallertan 6.0 alpha with 10 minutes left of boil. add 1/4 teaspoon of Irish Moss with 15 minutes left of boil for clarity.
Hops: 1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (aroma)
Yeast: pitch White Labs WLP 300 yeast at 70 degrees
Log: fermentation 7 days in plastic then keg the brew
Carbonation: forced carbonated at 28 lbs for 2 days
