Mash: 75% efficiency
i use the 5 gal beverage cooler method (used as a mash tun)
mash with 2 gal. 130° water 35 min. add 1.5 gal. 180° water (should bring mash temp to roughly 145°) 30 min,collect mash wort in brew pot (roughly 2.5 gal.) sparge grains with 2-3 gal. 185° water collect 4.5 gal. wort.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.062 4.5 gallons
add a small pinch irish moss in last 10 min of boil.
Hops: .75 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Tettnanger (4.2% AA, 30 min.)
.25 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (aroma)
.25 oz. Tettnanger (aroma)
