Bitterness: 16 IBU
OG: 1.051 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 5.6% v/v (4.4% w/w)
Grain: 6 lb. Wheat malt
3 lb. British pale
Mash: 75% efficiency
3 Gals at 104F. Hold for 30 minutes. Raise to 122F and hold for 30 minutes. Pull 1st decoction(40% of Mash) and bring up to 160F and hold for 20 minutes. Add back to mash and hold at 149F for 30 minutes. Raise to 159F until starch conversion. Raise to 165 and hold for 5 minutes. Lauter.
Boil: 70 minutes SG 1.043 6.0 gallons
Hops: .75 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: wyeast 3056
Log: ferment at 68F for 7 days. Rack to secondary for two weeks at 45F. Rack to keg.
Carbonation: 0.0 volumes
