Bitterness: 36 IBU
OG: 1.056 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 5.2% v/v (4.1% w/w)
Water: Add a teaspoon or so of gypsum if you like.
Grain: 0.5 lb. Belgian Munich
0.5 lb. Belgian CaraMunich
Steep: Steep grains for the typical 45 minutes @ 155° F.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.056 5 gallons
6 lb. Light LME
1 lb. Light DME
Add 1 teaspoon of Irish Moss the last 15 minutes of the boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Perle (8% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast #1007 German Ale XL
Carbonation: Bottle using corn sugar or force carbonate in kegs.
