Alcohol: 6.0% v/v (4.7% w/w)
Grain: 8 lb. American 2-row
.5 lb. Wheat malt
.75 lb. American victory
1 lb. American crystal 40L
.75 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
1 lb. American Munich
Mash: 65% efficiency
3.5 Gallons H20 @ 150°F for 90 minutes
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.043 6.5 gallons
Moss Last 15 minutes when chiller is added
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 30 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast Bavarian Lager..Starter 3 days in advance....SHould be longer, but pressed for time
Log: Primary @ 52°F for 2 weeks. After week one let in 60°F for 24 then resume to 52°F for remaining week.
Secondary @ 50°F --> 34°F for 6 weeks.
Keg @ 34°F and Lager for 2 weeks.
Serve.
Carbonation: 2.6 volumes Keg: 10.2 psi @ 34°F
