Grain: 5 lb. American Munich
5 lb. German Munich
Mash: 79% efficiency
174° strike temp; Lauder for 2 hours.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.048 6 gallons
6 oz. Amber malt extract
Add a whirlfoc tablet a end of boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: 11.5 Munich Yeast
4 grams yeast nutrient
2000ml 90° water
Log: The Munich Repeater batches currently start the first weekend of each month.
Carbonation: Carbonate to 1.5 Atmospheres.
Tasting: The Munich Repeater is a good beer to enjoy on a sunny weekend after doing your yard work.
Wash it down with a few pretzels!
