I made this to use up some various ingredients I had laying around

Beer: New English Bitter Style: English Ordinary Bitter
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
14 HCU (~9 SRM)
Bitterness: 30 IBU
OG: 1.042 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 3.9% v/v (3.1% w/w)
Water: Irish Moss
Calcium Sulfate (Gypsum)
Grain: 8 oz. British crystal 50-60L
6 oz. Flaked barley
Steep: 60 minutes at 150°F
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.061 3.5 gallons
3.3 lb. Light malt extract
6 oz. Maple syrup
1.5 lb. Light dry malt extract
1/2 oz Fuggles at start, 20min, 40min, and last 5 min
Hops: .5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 40 min.)
1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 20 min.)
1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 1098 for a drier, more tart ale, or Wyeast 1318 for a sweeter, fruitier ale.
Carbonation: 3/4 cup corn sugar for priming
