Alcohol: 4.6% v/v (3.6% w/w)
Water: All water is RO.
Grain: 22 lb. German Pilsner
5 lb. American crystal 20L
Mash: 60% efficiency
Double decoction w/ rests at 146 & 156 then hold for 1 hour @156
No sparge, will add water to boiler to adjust volume & gravity.
Boil: 60min minutes SG 1.040 15 gallons
1Tablespoon Irish Moss Powder last 15 min of boil.
Hops: 2 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (3.2% AA, 60 min.)
4 oz. Saaz (3.0% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.1% AA, 60 min.)
3 oz. Saaz (3.1% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: 1 gal starter of White Labs Pilsner Lager WLP800.
Log: Fermentation schedule
55 degree for 1 day
45 degerrs for 2 weeks in glass
35 degrees for 2 weeks or more in corney keg
Carbonation: Force carbonate in corney keg
