The better beer i brewed in my life!! (and it's been 10 years i'm brewing!!)

Type: All grain Size: 13 gallons
Color:
44 HCU (~20 SRM)
Bitterness: 22 IBU
OG: 1.080 FG: 1.022
Alcohol: 7.5% v/v (5.9% w/w)
Grain: 13kg British pale
500g American Munich
1kg American crystal 90L
100g Belgian Special B
250g American chocolate
Mash: 75% efficiency
mash in 65c. mash out 77c
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.067 15.5 gallons
1.5kg Amber malt extract
Hops: 2 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
.2 oz. Nugget (12% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast Scottish ale 1728
Log: 1 week primary. 2 months secondary. Caramelized the amber extract malt before adding it to the boil.
Tasting: A very good Scotch ale. Took the first place in a contest here in Canada. I put 500g of peated malt but the listing didn't mentionned that kind of malt . So just replace the Munich malt by the peated.
