Panther Piss Pale Ale

This receipe has been reformulated. This is the 2nd version.

Beer: Panther Piss Pale Ale Style: American Pale Ale
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5.0 gallons
Color:
9 HCU (~7 SRM)
Bitterness: 27 IBU
OG: 1.059 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 5.6% v/v (4.4% w/w)
Grain: .50 lb. Victroy Malt
.50 lb. Caramel Malt 10L
Steep: Steep grains at 150° for 30 mins.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.074 4.0 gallons
6.0 lb. Light dry malt extract
.50 lb. Rice extract
Add 1 tsp Irish Moss at 50 mins boil time.
Hops: 2.0 oz. Kent Goldings (3.8% AA, 60 min.)
1.0 oz. Fuggles (3.0% AA, 10 min.)
Yeast: White labs American Ale Yeast Blend( #WLP060)
1 tsp of Yeast nutrient
Ferment at 68 to 70 degrees.
Log: Frement primary 5-7 days: secondary till bubbling reaches 1 bubble every 3 minutes
Carbonation: 2.6 volumes Keg: 18.8 psi @ 50°F
Corn Sugar: 4.74 oz. for 5 gallons @ 70°F
Corn sugar is for bottling only.
