Easy drinking pale ale. Good for drinking after a workout.

Bitterness: 24 IBU
OG: 1.048 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 4.9% v/v (3.9% w/w)
Grain: 7 lb. 8 oz. Belgian Pilsner
8 oz. honey malt
8 oz. American crystal 20L
4 oz. Raw wheat
Mash: 75% efficiency
mash 60 minutes @ 150°F
mahsout 20 minutes @ 170°F
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.040 6 gallons
irish moss with 15 minutes left
Hops: 5/8 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 60 min.)
1/4 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
3/8 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 30 min.)
1/4 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: WLP001 California
Tasting: A crips, light ale. Slightly tart from the yeast, and lighly citrusy from the cascade.

The "honey malt" is advertised as adding a honey-like taste.... well, with a lot of imagination I can see how it's honey-like. Mostly it's slightly sweet and malty. It's good though, I recommend trying honey malt.
