This is my first attempt at a pale ale.

19 HCU (~11 SRM)
Bitterness: 24 IBU
OG: 1.069 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 6.9% v/v (5.4% w/w)
Water: Good old Aloha Oregon tap water
Grain: 12 oz. American crystal 40L
4 oz. British amber
Steep: Steeped at 155f for 30min
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.139 2.5 gallons
9 lb. Light malt extract
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (7.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (4.5% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (7.5% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Northern Brewer (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056 American ale yeast
Log: Brewed Feb 24th
Pitched yeast at 75f
Dry-hopping is planned for the secondary after fermentation subsides
