Grain: 8 oz. Belgian aromatic
1 lb. American crystal 60L
Mash: 35% efficiency
Boil: 45 - 60 minutes SG 1.115 3 gallons
5 lb. Light dry malt extract
8 oz. Wheat extract
2 lb. Honey
Crush and steep grains in 2 gallons of water. Bring water up to 165F and sparge.
Hops: 2 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
.25 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056 American Ale yeast
Log: After the racking for second fermentation add 5 oz. of apricot beer flavoring.
Carbonation: Carbonate with 1 1/4 cup of light DME
