0.25 lb. American crystal 20L
Mash: 68% efficiency
122F for 10 min.
134F for 15 min.
154F for 55 min.
168F for 20 min.
Boil: 70 minutes SG 1.046 5.5 gallons
Added 1 tsp. dry Irish Moss for 20 minutes in the boil.
Hops: 1.25 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
0.5 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 30 min.)
0.25 oz. Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: WYeast Kolsch started in 1.5 pints of 1025 SG unhopped wort for 32 hours.
Carbonation: Reserved 1.2 Quarts of final wort to prime the beer for bottling.
