Kleveland Kolsch #2

Increased grain bill from my last batch a little and switched over to Hallertau hops.

Type: All grain Size: 11 gallons
Color:
4 HCU (~4 SRM)
Bitterness: 16 IBU
OG: 1.056 FG: 1.007
Alcohol: 6.3% v/v (4.9% w/w)
Water: Lake Erie water straight from the tap.
Grain: 20 lb. German Pilsner
2 lb. Wheat malt
1 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
1 oz. Belgian CaraMunich
Mash: 73% efficiency
90 minutes at 152° F
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.044 14 gallons
2 tsp. Irish Moss added 15 minutes prior to end of the boil
Hops: 1.5 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 75 min.)
1.5 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (aroma)
Yeast: 2565 Kolsch Yeast in one fermentor
1056 in the other.
