Bitterness: 23 IBU
OG: 1.050 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 5.4% v/v (4.2% w/w)
Water: Charcol Filtered
Grain: 2 lb. German Pilsner
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 60% efficiency
Mash for one hour at 155° Sparge and collect runoff in pot.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.083 3 gallons
2 lb. Light dry malt extract
2.5 lb. Wheat extract
Irish moss 15 minutes from end.
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast Kolsch Ale Yeast
Carbonation: 2.6 volumes Corn Sugar: 4.74 oz. for 5 gallons @ 70°F
