Bitchin Belgain Wit

This is a great brew for the dog days of summer

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
5 HCU (~5 SRM)
Bitterness: 14 IBU
OG: 1.041 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 4.3% v/v (3.3% w/w)
Water: Distilled Water
Grain: 3.7 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
3.7 oz. Rolled oats
3.7 oz. Rice (raw)
3.7 oz. Flaked wheat
Steep: Steep grains at 150° for 30 minutes. Remove grains and add extracts,and hallertaur hops boil 60 minutes. Last 15 add honey, cascade, Irish Moss, Orange zest, and coriander.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.103 2 gallons
3.03 lb. Light malt extract
0.92 lb. Light dry malt extract
0.92 lb. Honey
0.23 oz. coriander
0.23 oz. orange zest
Irish Moss for the last 15 minutes
Hops: 0.92 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
0.92 oz. Cascade (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Safbrew T-58 Wheat Rehydrate with 1 cup distilled water. Pitch after yeast has sat for a half hour.
Log: ferment for 4-6 days. Rack to secondary for 5 days. 5 oz corn sugar for bottling
Carbonation: 5.5 oz Honey
Tasting: very clean and crisp.Great orange,coriander taste
