Alcohol: 4.9% v/v (3.8% w/w)
Water: Gypsum not used. All (STORE BOUGHT) Crystal Brand Mineral Water.
Grain: 5.00 oz. Flaked Oats (Mash @ 154 Deg. F)
8.00 oz. 2- Row Pilsner (For Conversion Enzymes)(Mash @ 154 Deg. F)
Steep: Mash grains @ 154 Deg. F for approx. 1 hour.
Boil: 30 minutes SG 1.042 2.50 gallons
16.00 oz. Light Dry Wheat Extract (Wheat DME)
16.00 oz. Pilsen Dry Malt Extract (Briess Pilsen DME)
0.00 oz. 1 TEASPOON Ground Coriander Seed (In last 10 Minutes)
0.00 oz. 2 TEASPOONS Sweet Orange Peel (In last 5 Minutes)
Boil Mashed Liquids, Wheat DME, Pilsen DME & Hops per Schedule.
Add Coriander Seeds (Store Bought Spice) in last 10 min. of boil.
Add Orange Peel (Peeled & Dried from sweet oranges ) in last 5 min. of boil.
Hops: 8.0g Hallertauer Mittelfruh (4.40% AA, 30 min.)
5.0g Williamette (4.60% AA, 30 min.)
Yeast: 1/2 Package Nottingham/Danstar Dry Yeast @ 57° to 70° F.
KEEP IN LOWER TEMPERATURE RANGE IF POSSIBLE.

Carbonation: 2.6 volumes Corn Sugar: 60.5g for 2.25 gallons @ 70°F
1 teaspoon CORN Sugar per 12 ounce bottle.
Tasting: Very good replica of Blue Moon Ale. This is the 3rd batch
of Blue Moon. After tweaking batches 1 and 2, this is an
accurate version of the commercial product. Very good even though
it has only conditioned for 16 days.
