4 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
1 lb. American crystal 20L
Steep: Steep grains 20min at 150 F, sparge same temp.
Boil: 45min minutes SG 1.118 2.5 gallons
6 lb. Light dry malt extract
Irish Moss added at 15min remaining in boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Cluster (7% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Mt. Hood (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056
Log: Primary fermentation 6-7 days at 65 F, secondary 3 wks at 55 F.
Carbonation: Bottle carbonate with addition of 3/4 cup corn sugar at bottling.
