Alcohol: 6.4% v/v (5.0% w/w)
Water: 1 campden tab in 4.75 gallons strike water
1/2 campden tab in 4.75 gallons sparge water
1 Tbsp 5.2 pH mash stabilizer at mash-in
Grain: 11.25 lb. American 2-row
.75 lb. American crystal 60L
.5 lb. Belgian Special B
Mash: 66% efficiency
Target mash temp was 153F. Mash started at 154F. One hour later, mash finished at 149F
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.043 7 gallons
Forgot to add Irish Moss.
Oh well.
Hops: .5 oz. Columbus (13.9% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Chinook (11.1% AA, 20 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6.2% AA, 5 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (aroma)
1 oz. Chinook (aroma)
Yeast: WYeast 1056 American ale yeast.
Pitched into 1.2L of 1.025 SG starter wort on stir plate.
24 hours later pitched starter into full volume of aerated wort.
