First Belgian ale made with the relatively new dark candi syrup. Also trying WLP575 (Belgian Blend) for the first time.

Bitterness: 21 IBU
OG: 1.069 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 7.3% v/v (5.8% w/w)
Grain: 11 lb. German Pilsner
1 oz. German Carafa II
Mash: 75% efficiency
Will mash at 152°F for 60 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.056 6.5 gallons
24 oz. Dark Belgian Candi Syrup
Add candi syrup during last 10 minutes of boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 20 min.)
Yeast: WLP575
