9 HCU (~7 SRM)
Bitterness: 57 IBU
OG: 1.069 FG: 1.009
Alcohol: 7.7% v/v (6.1% w/w)
Water: added gypsum towards the end of the boil.
Grain: 8 oz. American Vienna
Steep: steeped the vienna malt for 20 minutes at 150°.
Boil: 45 minutes SG 1.138 2.5 gallons
6 lb. Light dry malt extract
1 lb. Belgian candi sugar
8 oz. Honey
added irish moss and coriander seed at the 15 minute mark
Hops: 1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 45 min.)
15 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: wpl 450
it took a while to get started but then it went steady for 10 days.
Carbonation: 1 cup of dextrose sugar.
