Alcohol: 5.8% v/v (4.6% w/w)
Grain: 11 oz. American crystal 10L
8 oz. Golden Naked Oats
Steep: Steep Grains for 30 min in 2.5 gal of 150° water. Rinse grains with .5 gal of 170° water.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.092 3 gallons
3.3 lb. Briess Pilsen Light LME
1.0 lb. Briess Bavarian Wheat DME
2.0 lb. Briess Pilsen Light DME
4.5 oz. Corn sugar
Add the 1 lb of wheat dme, the 2 lbs of the light dme, 8 oz malt dextrine, and 4.5 oz of corn sugar at the beginning of the boil. At the last 15 min add .25 tsp ground coriander, 1 fresh lemon peel, .5 oz of sweet orange peel, and .5 tsp of crushed grains of paradise. The at the last 10 min of the boil add the jar of light LME.
Hops: 0.75 oz. Fuggles (4.9% AA, 60 min.)
0.75 oz. Kent Goldings (4.8% AA, 30 min.)
0.875 oz. Spalt (4.0% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Muntons Premium Gold
Log: Primary 7 to ten days, rack to secondary for 7 days. The Actual O.G. is 1.056 and the actual F.G.is 1.016
Carbonation: 1 cup Briess Pilsen light DME
