An excuse to try out Safale T-38.

Type: All grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
5 HCU (~4 SRM)
Bitterness: 25 IBU
OG: 1.069 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 7.4% v/v (5.8% w/w)
Water: Acidified mash and sparge water. Added calcium chloride and gypsum.
Grain: 10 lb. Weyermann Pilsner
1 lb. Weyermann Wheat malt
8 oz. Weyermann CaraHell
Mash: 70% efficiency
Mash at 150°F for 60 minutes.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.050 7 gallons
1 lb. Honey
Honey added last 10 minutes of the boil.
Hops: 1.5 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
0.5 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: Safale T-38.
Carbonation: Medium-high to high.
