Gonna try doing a strong ale with DME... can't wait to see what will result of it.

Type: Extract Size: 5 gallons
Color:
10 HCU (~7 SRM)
Bitterness: 19 IBU
OG: 1.078 FG: 1.017
Alcohol: 7.9% v/v (6.2% w/w)
Grain: 8 oz. American crystal 10L
Steep: Steeping at 150 for 30 minutes
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.065 6 gallons
6 lb. 8 oz. Light dry malt extract
2 lb. 0 oz. Belgian candi sugar
Added irish moss (1tsp) 15 min prior to end of boil
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 60 min.)
.75 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Using wyeast belgian strong 1388 and a good starter
Carbonation: Dextrose, most likely around 2.8-3.0
