classic golden ale, very strong light in color and dry in taste.

Bitterness: 25 IBU
OG: 1.068 FG: 1.006
Alcohol: 8.0% v/v (6.3% w/w)
Grain: 10.4 lb. Belgian Pilsner
0.52 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 83% efficiency
in your tun mash in all grains and hold at 131 degr. for 15 mins., raise tempt. to 148 and hold 60mins or until convertion. mash out and boil 90 mins.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.058 6.5 gallons
1.11 lb. Corn sugar
with 15 mins. left in boil add the 1Lb. 11oz. of corn sugar.two capulses yeast nutrient, one in the kettle, and one in the secondary rack.
Hops: 1 oz. Styrian Goldings (5.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: white labs.wlp570 ( belgian golden ale) make a 3 qt. starter you will need this much yeast because of the high gavity of this ale.
Log: ferment at 68 degr. rack to secondary add 11oz. corn sugar add more yeast nutrient. when ale falls clear keg and enjoy your work!!!!
Tasting: should taste dry, and have a dense white head atop a golden colored ale
