OG: 1.072 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 7.7% v/v (6.0% w/w)
Grain: 9 lb. American 2-row
2 lb. American Munich
2 lb. American victory
1 lb. American crystal 20L
Mash: 70% efficiency
mash for 60 min at 153, sparge with 170* water
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.056 7 gallons
1 lb. Honey
honey for 60 mins and whirlfloc with 15 mins remaining
Hops: .25 oz. Galena (13% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Nugget (12% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: 2 qt starter of wyeast 1056
Log: using simcoe, warrior, citra and amarillo, which aren't on the recipator, all hops with the exception of quarter oz of warrior will be added at 15 mins or later, going for big hop flavor and aroma without overwhelming bitterness
