Type: All grain Size: 6.25 gallons
Color:
24 HCU (~13 SRM)
Bitterness: 58 IBU
OG: 1.074 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 7.4% v/v (5.8% w/w)
Water: measure PH, adjust to 5 ph
Grain: 9 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. American crystal 40L
1 lb. American crystal 80L
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 85% efficiency
2.5 Gallonf of water at 138F add grain, hold at 122F for 30 minutes
Add 1.25 Gallons of boling water-- hold at 160 for 1 hour.
sparge with 5 Gallons at 175F..
boil 75 minutes
Add cane Sugar
see Hops additions
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.061 7.5 gallons
2 lb. Cane sugar
Irisk moss, Gelatin at final 10 minutes of boil
Dry hop for a week
Hops: 1.25 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 75 min.)
1.0 oz. Northern Brewer (7.4% AA, 75 min.)
1.0 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 20 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (aroma)
1 oz. Centennial (aroma)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (aroma)
Yeast: wyeast American Ale
Carbonation: 2.1 volumes Keg: 23.2 psi @ 70°F
Corn Sugar: 3.67 oz. for 5.5 gallons @ 65°F
Tasting: great for summer, hoppy, complex yet lite
